Perseverance and creativity have paid off for a Dubuque girl whose design for a holiday greeting card will be sold to help children in need around the world. Annie Burbach, 13, of Dubuque, shares the grand prize for the 2006 Pier 1/UNICEF/Weekly Reader Greeting Card Contest.
