GE Capital Solutions said Thursday that it is buying the parent company of Hunt Valley-based PHH Arval for $1.8 billion and merging it with the company's own fleet management company.
Under the deal, the subsidiary of General Electric Corp. would pay $31.50 a share in an all-cash transaction for Mount Laurel, N.J.- based PHH Corp. and its two units - PHH Arval and PHH Mortgage.
