The partnership taking over the former Pascack Valley Hospital predicts profits of 14 percent, the highest in New Jersey at a time when nearly one in three of the state's hospitals is operating in the red.
Hackensack University Medical Center at Pascack Valley will achieve those profits -- six times the state average -- by attracting business with a gold-plated brand name and all single- patient rooms, a first for the region. The University of Wisconsin-Madison's School of Business has received an $85 million gift from a group of 13 alumni - the biggest single gift in UW-Madison's history - to add faculty, boost the school's reputation and improve teaching and research, but not to change its name anytime soon.

In the mid-fifties, Turner moved his band to St Louis, where he met an 18-year-old singer named Anna Mae Bullock, who would later become his wife and musical partner. She was re-named [Tina Turner]. He had then become a talent scout and signed her up to be the lead singer for his group. They became a dynamic, head-turning, eye-catching duo, and belted out songs to match their new partnership including "A Fool In Love," "I Idolized You," "Poor Fool" and their signature hit, "Proud Mary.
