• Compost Facility: ; City Wins $2.6m From Suit

The Charleston Sanitary Board will get more than $2.6 million from a company hired to make high-quality compost out of yard waste and sewage sludge generated in the city of Charleston. The company failed to design and build the composting facility as promised, according to a ruling issued by Kanawha Circuit Judge Paul Zakaib Jr. on Friday.
