John Wiley & Sons Inc., the Hoboken-based publisher, said Monday that it is selling its popular Frommer's travel brand to Google, as part of a plan to focus more attention on its educational, research and professional development products. Wiley did not reveal the sale price for the travel brand, which includes hundreds of Frommer's guidebooks, a website and the "Unofficial Guide" titles. The company, which has about 5,300 employees total, also declined to say how many employees worked for the Frommer's brands.
