The Recovery School District will split its food services contract among several vendors when it goes to bid for the 2012- 2013 school year, said J. DeLano Ford, deputy superintendent of services for the district.
Ford said the plan to divvy up the contract among several school lunch providers next year comes in response to food quality and other concerns raised by a number of RSD charter schools in the district. Aramark Corp. holds the RSD food services contract now.
