Evansville, Ind. , 83, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Friday, January 27, 2012, at St. Mary's Medical Center. Herman was born in Griffin, Indiana, on December 28, 1928, to the late Charles Nicholas and Catherine T. (Hertel) Hoehn. Herman spent his career as a factory worker and retired from Robur (formerly Arkla).
He was an active member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Evansville. Herman is survived by his wife of 54 years, Kathleen Marie (Schentrup) Hoehn; daughter, Karen M. Bengert (Jim J.), of Evansville; sons, Stephen N. and Richard A. Hoehn, of Mount Vernon; sisters, Loretta Whelan (Darrell), Elizabeth Roby; brothers, Pete and Bob Hoehn; grandchildren, Charlene N. and Stephanie M. Bengert.

Gerbner), Virginia (Richard Q. Whelan) and Sarah, eight grandchildren, brother, Michael (Sheila), Toronto, Canada. He was predeceased by his grandson, Richard Q. Whelan, Jr., brothers James E. and Geoffrey and parents, The Very Reverend Ernest D. Jarvis and Clara Lois Reid Jarvis.
