Problem: Religious discrimination claims are the fastest-growing charges filed with the federal EEOC. Since 1992, these claims have more than doubled from 1,388 charges in 1992 to 2,880 in 2007. Of course, this only begins to tell the story, as there has also been a corresponding rise in discrimination charges at the state agency level, not to mention lawsuits filed in federal courts or state courts, and confidential settlements reached before the legal process has begun.

The business is a subsidiary of Cincinnati-based call center and billing company Convergys Corp.
