Jeremy Burton has been named the Tulsa Public Relations Professional of the Year.
The director of public relations at Oral Roberts University received the award at the Tulsa Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America's 31st annual Silver Link Awards ceremony.

April Marston, a junior public relations major at the University of Memphis, was recently announced as the recipient of the inaugural Al Westland Public Relations Award.
She was presented the $500 award at the May 14 luncheon meeting of the Public Relations Society of America's Memphis chapter, which has sponsored the annual award for several years.
