The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is updating income levels used to identify a ``low income family'' for the purpose of determining eligibility for programs that provide health professions and nursing training for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. These various programs are included in Titles III, VII and VIII of the Public Health Service Act. The Department periodically publishes in the Federal Register low- income levels used to determine eligibility for grants and cooperative agreements to institutions providing training for (1) disadvantaged individuals, (2) individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds, or (3) individuals from ``low-income'' families.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is announcing the opening of a public docket to make available to the public a report of the pediatric studies of meropenem that were conducted in accordance with section 409I of the Public Health Service Act (PHS Act) and submitted to the Director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Commissioner of Food and Drugs.

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is issuing a non-competitive replacement award under the Telehealth Resource Center Grant Program (TRCGP) to the California Telehealth Network in order to continue advancement of the effective use of telehealth technology that will facilitate the provision of health care services to rural, medically-underserved California residents.

This document contains final regulations regarding the summary of benefits and coverage and the uniform glossary for group health plans and health insurance coverage in the group and individual markets under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. This document implements the disclosure requirements under section 2715 of the Public Health Service Act to help plans and individuals better understand their health coverage, as well as other coverage options. A guidance document published elsewhere in this issue of the Federal Register provides further guidance regarding compliance.

Amendment to declaration issued on March 1, 2010 (75 FR 10268) pursuant to section 319F-3 of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 247d-6d) to extend the effective time period, reformat the declaration, modify or clarify terms of the declaration and republish the declaration in its entirety, as amended.
