LA PUENTE - After months of delay, the City Council has agreed to sign a $4.9 million public safety services contract with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
The council voted unanimously Tuesday to approve the agreement, but not after some debate over where in the city sheriff's resources should be dedicated.
