LA PUENTE - After months of delay, the City Council has agreed to sign a $4.9 million public safety services contract with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. The council voted unanimously Tuesday to approve the agreement, but not after some debate over where in the city sheriff's resources should be dedicated.
In accordance with Section 743 of Division C of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2010 (Pub. L. 111-117), Department of Agriculture is publishing this notice to advise the public of the availability of the FY 2011 Service Contract inventory. LA PUENTE - After months of delay, the City Council has agreed to sign a $4.9 million public safety services contract with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. The council on Tuesday unanimously voted to approve the agreement, which should have been signed by the start of the fiscal year on July 1.
HARRISBURG -- With pay cuts and health care contributions on the table, the head of the state's largest public employees' union expects to make progress this week in contract negotiations that will impact the crafting of a new state budget. BREWER - City councilors on Tuesday ratified contract extensions for police, fire and public works personnel that go through 2012 and do not give any raises.
