NORFOLK - , 80, heard the heavenly call of angels and went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010. She was born in Hopkinsville, Ky., on April 17, 1930, the daughter of the late Rev. George and Francis Morton. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Hopkinsville. After marrying, she moved to Norfolk in 1950, started her family and assisted her mother-in-law with their daycare of children in the neighborhood.
