As president of the private and entrepreneurial banking division of Buckhead Community Bank in Atlanta, Donna L Kain recognizes an untapped market when she sees one. So, with another female executive, Kain co-founded The Power of Women and Money, an organization targeting business women and designed to promote their success. The Power of Women and Money has proven to be an effective marketing tool for Buckhead Community Bank, Kain said. Although it started from a group of invited bank customers, it has grown to include the masses -- people they would like to have as their clients. A lot of their women business-owners feel more comfortable with someone they can relate to like her.
