Transformation is coming to the National Day of Prayer Breakfast in Yakima on Thursday -- in structure, venue, ancillary activities and vision for the future.
Transformation Begins with Prayer" is this year's local theme for the annual event, which runs 6:30-8 a.m. at Le Chateau, 15 N. Naches Ave. This is a new location for the breakfast, which costs $8 and is open to everyone.

During its annual prayer breakfast on March 8, the General Federation of Woman's Club Woman's Club of Linthicum Heights recently honored two local residents, Vincent Lamartina and Jason Ashburn, for their dedicated service to the community.
In 1982, Lamartina started selling produce on the property he purchased at Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard and Schulamar Road. The business, Vince's Produce, grew over the years and they added flowers and Christmas trees.

So as I mentioned, this is my last visit as your President to the Hispanic Prayer Breakfast. It's been a joy every time I have come. During the last 71/2 years, I have been touched by how many Americans have come up and said, "I'm praying for you, Mr. President"- people I've never seen before in my life, may never see again.
