BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. (AP) -- Intrawest ULC has agreed to sell its Copper Mountain ski resort in Colorado to Salt Lake-based Powdr Corp.
Intrawest, based in Vancouver, British Columbia, said Tuesday it has reached a definitive deal with Powdr but the sale still needs approval from the U.S. Forest Service and federal regulators. At least some of Copper Mountain's terrain is leased from the Forest Service.

MONTPELIER, Vt. -- Park City-based American Skiing Co. has agreed to sell Vermont's Killington and Pico ski resorts for $83.5 million, four days after announcing the sale of Mount Snow in southern Vermont and New Hampshire's Attitash ski area.
The sales to SP Land Co., a Dallas-based real estate investor, and POWDR Corp., a Utah-based resort company, include all of Killington's and Pico's resort-owned real estate. SP Land will assume about $5 million in debt as part of the purchase.

American Skiing Company, which owns two ski resorts in Maine, announced Tuesday that it is selling its Killington and Pico resorts in Vermont to SP Land Co., a Dallas-based real estate investor, and POWDR Corp., a Utah-based resort company, for $83.5 million.
The sale follows the company's announcement last week that it is selling the Mount Snow ski area in Vermont and Attitash in New Hampshire for $73.5 million, and the December announcement of the planned $265 million sale of Steamboat resort in Colorado.

Park City Mountain Resort, in partnership with its parent company, Powdr Corp., will offset 100 percent of its power from renewable energy sources beginning in June.
The resort's purchase of 13.9 million kilowatt-hours of renewable energy credits will avoid nearly 19 million pounds of CO2 emissions annually.

KILLINGTON, Vt. -- The new owners of the Killington ski resort are telling hundreds of people with lifetime passes that their unlimited access to the slopes is coming to an end.
Powdr Corp. of Salt Lake City and SP Land Corp. of Dallas said terms of the $85.2 million deal did not bind them to the people who purchased stocks or bonds from Sherburne Corp. in 1960 and 1961 to help get the resort started.
