• Movie Review: '3 Rooms of Melancholia' Is Tragically Human

From what I've heard, Pirjo Honkasalo is known as the "anti- Christ of Finnish Cinema. I'm not sure how she got that nickname, but it is totally unsuited to her new film, The 3 Rooms of Melancholia, a documentary on the Russian-Chechen conflict. The viewpoint for The 3 Rooms of Melancholia is primarily through the eyes of children, which gives the film a sadly human face.
