A group of former Walter Drake Inc. executives has acquired Chef's Catalog Inc. and plans to move the cooking equipment catalog operation to Colorado Springs. Chef's will employ between 100 and 125 people when it completes the move by April, with most of the staff hired locally, said Jon Medved, chief executive of Pikes Peak Direct Marketing Inc.
