BRISTOL - Pharmaceutical company Pfizer Global Supply is ending manufacturing and logistics operations at its Bristol, Tenn., facility, cutting 146 jobs, but the plant will continue its commercial and support operations. Pfizer is looking to consolidate plants after purchasing Bristol- based King Pharmaceuticals. Pfizer said in a news release on Wednesday that it will move production of a thyroid therapy and a pain medication from the underutilized facility to other sites by 2014.
