Hope 'Sweetie' Thomas-Wheeler, his first art teacher, remembers [Peter Robert Clough] as a 14-year-old at Wolmer's Boys High, who expertly translated her instructions with his brushstrokes.
Steven Woodham, a former schoolmate, reminisced on the difficulty the 'fun giving' Peter, like the other members of the "Gifted Nine", had in choosing where to go after graduation. Eventually, Peter went off to art school in Canada.
His family was the centre of his inner circle of those he held dear. These included The Kawass family, Paul, Stacey, 'Aunt Patsy', his extended family George, Abe Hilda, Jenifer, Siti Mary (meaning Grandma Mary in Arabic tongue), adopted nieces and nephews.
