Back on friendly ground, Majestic City and Peter Miller have a slight edge in a big field for the $750,000 CashCall Futurity at Hollywood Park on Saturday.
Majestic City returns to the Hollywood Park main track where the 2-year-old colt won three races in a row last spring, including the Hollywood Juvenile Championship, before losing three in a row at Del Mar, Keeneland and Churchill Downs.

GLEN ROCK -- After a decade at Glen Rock High School, Principal James McCarthy is leaving the district to take the helm at St. Peter Academy in River Edge.
McCarthy starts July 1 and replaces Barbara Takacs, who has served as principal of the kindergarten-through-eighth-grade school since 1985. Takacs is leaving to take a position elsewhere.

As a member of South Africa's Soweto Gospel Choir, Mandla Modawu has performed on some of the world's greatest concert stages, from Carnegie Hall to the Sydney Opera House, and in front of some of the most distinguished audiences, including President Bill Clinton, Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Oprah Winfrey.
But it was a 2003 show in nearby Cape Town, South Africa, that sticks most in his mind. Modawu had just joined the year-old choir as a singer and percussionist when it performed at the 46664 Concert to benefit the Nelson Mandela Foundation. The concert, which took its name from the revered human rights leader's prison number during the 18 years he spent jailed under apartheid, featured such international superstars as Beyonc, Queen, Peter Gabriel, and Bono and The Edge from U2.
