The 53-page indictment alleges that Arvelo and former Bergen County Improvement Authority Chairman Ronald O'Malley committed fraud and conspired to commit fraud.

The victim had been spending the night with Lacys child, who is believed to be about the same age as the girl, when the assault allegedly occurred.   • The indictment alleges that [Raphael Lora], a New York City Police Officer, "with intent to cause serious physical injury to Fermin Arzu, did cause the death of Fermin Arzu by shooting him with a handgun." Manslaughter in the 1st degree is a Class B felony offense punishable by a maximum sentence of up to 25 years imprisonment. Lora was arraigned before State Supreme Court Justice Steven Barrett who set bail at $50,000 in the form of a personal recognizance bond.

While released on a personal recognizance bond on those charges, Evans was arrested in August on six additional residential burglary charges and another count of possession of a stolen vehicle.

  • West Bend Former Grafton Village Trustee Frank Knetter told a Washington County judge on Tuesday that he may seek to be represented by a public defender on charges that he sexually assaulted a group of boys while playing basketball last fall. Judge Andrew T. Gonring found probable cause for the new charges against Knetter during his initial appearance Tuesday. Gonring allowed Knetter to go free on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond and scheduled a hearing for June 28.
