Frankie Irene Doyle (Granny Walters) Walters passed away at her home in Ellett Friday, April 15, 2011, after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter; and her husband, Lacie Clifton Walters. Being the oldest of 10 children of Frank and Ocie Kirby Doyle, Irene was preceded in death by her parents, and seven siblings, Wilson, Bernice, and Roland (Buddy) Doyle, Stella D. Moses, Lucy D. Musselman, Rhoda D. Wolfe, and Clyde Geraldine D. Akers Elliott; grandparents, William and Lucy Jewell Kirby, Frank William and Lucy Sublett Doyle; and a very special uncle, Bernice R. Kirby.

WOOSTER -- Bernice Carrie Walters, 88, of Wooster, passed away Friday, April 1, 2011, in West View Manor Nursing Home.
She was born April 11, 1922, in Sharon Valley near New Philadelphia, the daughter of Robert C. and Carrie Prysi Shakleford, and married Harold E. Walters of New Philadelphia on Sept. 7, 1947. He survives.

, 70, of Quarryville, PA, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Selma (Fisher) and Arthur F. Walters. Frank was the husband of Kandace (Ream) Walters; together they celebrated 32 years of marriage.
Frank graduated from Manheim Township High School. He was active in school, playing Varsity Football and on the Rifle Team. He independently owned an Agricultural Silage Bagging Service and Ag Supplies Business; he retired after 35 years of service. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. Frank enjoyed the mountains of North Carolina where he spent a lot of time at his family home. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing. Frank also spent a lot of time with his African Gray Parrot.
