Over 20 families attended the event, which took place at Roy Wilkins Park, 177-01 Baisley Blvd, in Jamaica Queens, where Harlem Dowling joint staff members treated them to board games, face painting and plenty of food. Kids won various prizes for competing in such activities as sack racing, volley ball, and Limbo. In addition to the fun activities, the Harlem Dowling staff was joined by City Councilman Leroy Comrie in celebrating the 75th Birthday of Queens resident, Shirley Ebron.

WOOSTER -- Dr. Kim H. Tunnicliff was killed early Thursday, June 16, 2011, in a head-on collision near Mansfield. He was on his way back to his home in Wooster, following a visit with his family in Oak Park, Ill.
Memorial services will be Friday, July 1, at 11 a.m. at Grace Episcopal Church in Oak Park, and on Saturday, July 9, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Cathedral in Davenport, Iowa.

Construction is under way on the first leg of the $28 million Wolf River Greenway, a significant factor in itself for a city that has never built a linear park at least 22 miles long before, or anything quite like it.
Now for the rest of the story. What's not obvious about the greenway - a joint project of Memphis Park Services, the Wolf River Conservancy and the Hyde Family Foundation that eventually will stretch from the Mississippi River to Germantown - is that it is just scratching the surface of a very ambitious dream.
