Shot with a small, unobtrusive, hand- held digital Betacam, won the $50,000 Target Award for Best Documentary. The film's title borrows a Mexican vernacular expression, cada uno su grano de arena, which refers to the way even seemingly impossible accomplishments can be realized when everyone contributes.
