Ace*Comm to be taken private Ace*Comm Corp., of Gaithersburg, a telecommunications and Internet service company, said it has agreed to be acquired for $19.5 million -- minus certain acquisition-related expenses -- by affiliates of Ariston Global LLC, a Rochester, N.Y.-based company that purchases and operates communications services companies. The resulting per-share price is expected to be in the range of 54 cents to 56 cents, roughly 54 percent to 60 percent over the 35-cent closing price of the company's shares on Friday. Ace*Comm's shares trade on the over-the-counter market; upon completion of the transaction, it will no longer be a publicly traded company.
