Trial court did not err in overruling motion to suppress. Officer observed traffic violation and made a traffic stop. Officer then determined that defendant did not have a valid drivers license and was subject to outstanding warrants for his arrest. Defendant was sole occupant of car that did not belong to him. Car was properly towed under policy of Dayton Police Department, and inventory search conducted prior to the tow disclosed crack cocaine in the center front console of the car. Defendants conviction for possession of crack cocaine is supported by the evidence and is not against the manifest weight of the evidence. BREWER, Maine -- Police responding to a fight last week found a wanted Bangor man with diverted prescription drugs, Brewer police Capt. Chris Martin said Monday.
Kenneth T. Hammons, 48, who also was out on bail, was arrested at about 8 p.m. Friday by Officer Eduardo Benjamin and charged with unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and violating his bail conditions. There also were two outstanding warrants for his arrest.

* Aaron Rubio, 24, 1115 Ocate Road, No. 2, was stopped near the intersection of Camino Consuelo and Cerrillos Road at 10:21 p.m. Tuesday and found to have no driver's license and three outstanding warrants for his arrest for previous cases involving driving with no license, lacking proof of insurance and other infractions.

WEST COVINA - Police arrested a woman on suspicion of a home break-in Wednesday after being abandoned by her alleged accomplice, officials said.
Talia Iopu, 35, of West Covina was booked on suspicion of burglary, as well as outstanding arrest warrants for grand theft and possession of stolen property, West Covina police Lt. Tommy Garcia.

In the course of a routine traffic stop for a window tint violation, officers discovered defendants outstanding arrest warrants; the subsequent search incident to arrest did not violate Appellants Fourth Amendment rights, and the heroin seized was not subject to suppression. Judgment affirmed.

QNEWBURGH - An attempt by U.S. marshals recently to arrest two people on outstanding warrants ended with a pair of arrests, but not for the suspects originally sought.
Michael Scott Ausbrooks, 35, of Evansville, and Jack D. McKeethen, 42, of Newburgh, were arrested at McKeethen's home at 5922 Stacer Road on Dec. 21. Both men are being held in the Warrick County Jail on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine. Ausbrooks faces additional felony charges for allegedly attempting to run over a deputy U.S. marshal with a sport utility vehicle.

APPLE VALLEY -- A traffic stop led Apple Valley deputies to a probationer wanted for a stabbing earlier this month, San Bernardino County Sheriff's official said Friday.
Ruben Daniel Garcia, 28, of Apple Valley reportedly stabbed a man on Sept. 8. He was arrested Thursday afternoon on suspicion of attempted murder and several outstanding arrest warrants, Cindy Bachman, spokeswoman for the sheriff's department said.

MILFORD -- A motor-vehicle stop Saturday led to the arrest of a city man wanted for crimes ranging from armed robbery to burglary and forgery, police said. Eric Lapenna, 19, of 20 Opal St., had seven outstanding warrants for his arrest after he failed to show up for court following his arrest in separate incidents of alleged first-degree robbery, larceny and forgery, burglary, assault and interfering with police dating back to May 19.
He was arrested about 10:30 p.m. Saturday after police stopped a car his was a passaenger in on West Main Street for a motor vehicle violation, although police spokesman Vaughan Dumas said Monday he wasn't sure what triggered the stop and no traffic charges were filed.

PASADENA - A complaint about a party Saturday led to five arrests and the seizure of three handguns and some crack cocaine, police said.
Parolee William Woods, 24, was booked on suspicion of possessing a handgun, Tyree Collier, 25, was booked on suspicion of possessing crack cocaine for sales, Clydell Bryant, 28, was booked for outstanding arrest warrants, Brock Kenoly was booked for outstanding arrest warrants and Darnell Jack, 22, was booked on suspicion of giving a false name to police, Pasadena police Lt. Keith Jones said.
