CHESAPEAKE - Samikia Y. "Pooh" Brooks, 25, of the 1200 block of New Born Court, passed away Jan. 2, 2007. She was born Aug. 9, 1981, in Norfolk. She was a member of Centerville Chapel AME Church in Fentress, Va. She was a 1999 graduate of Hickory High School and was recently enrolled full time at Old Dominion University majoring in social work.
