To some, having an iPad 2, the Motorola Xoom or the newest technology is a must. But what's old to some might be new to others. I'm always amazed when I talk to businesses and employees of companies that I perceive as progressive only to hear about their older corporate technology.
In many industries and corporations, especially those involved in manufacturing, there seems to be a common technology limitation. Many of these companies are tied to older operating systems or software, due to the cost of retrofitting machines or purchasing new software.
