Meeting set on proposed boulevardOKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma Department of Transportation and Oklahoma City have scheduled a public meeting at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 21 at the Coca-Cola Bricktown Events Center to present design concepts for a boulevard to connect Interstate 40 to downtown Oklahoma City.The meeting will include a presentation and a question-and-answer period.The focus of the meeting is to discuss building a four-lane roadway instead of a six- lane roadway. The project is estimated at $80 million, which includes $50 million for connections to the new interstate on the east and west ends of the corridor and $30 million for a new downtown roadway.Free parking will be available in the lot directly to the south of Coca-Cola Center, 425 E. California Ave.
