With fall in the air, there are plenty of food events and restaurant openings to indulge. Atwater Crossing Kitchen, a casual neighborhood spot in Atwater Village (south of Glendale) has opened. It specializes in wood- fired flatbreads, fresh salads, soups and skewers of lemon garlic chicken or beef rib-eye along with breakfast items. Open 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Friday for breakfast and lunch.
