Oklahoma Baptist University is a small school in Shawnee with big dreams. The university, which had an enrollment of fewer than 2,000 in the recently completed fall semester, is in the midst of a $42 million fundraising campaign. The multiyear (2011 to 2014) "Vision for a New Century" effort is the biggest in the history of the 101- year-old school. Previous campaigns topped out at about $31 million, said Marty O'Gwynn, assistant to the OBU president.
Stephanie McFall of Memphis, a freshman graphic design major, was named to Oklahoma Baptist University's President's Honor Roll for the fall 2010 semester. Students who achieved a semester grade point average of 3.7 or higher on a 4.0 scale are named to the President's Honor Roll. OBU is located in Shawnee, Okla.

A group of workers tries to explain the nature of problems they are having with an issue at their plant, but their boss doesn't really seem to be listening to what they are saying. Their frustration is evident. It's a real-world problem from a real plant. However, the workers and their hardheaded boss are animated characters used to outline a problem in a course that is part of a virtual-reality MBA degree offered by Oklahoma Baptist University in partnership with Vertical Learning Curve in Oklahoma City.

With more than 22 years of experience in private practice, his general civil litigation practice began with Musser & Bunch PC in Oklahoma City. He later associated with Mitchell Klein Pickens & Peck, assuming his current role as ethics counsel for the Oklahoma Bar Association in August 2009. He also is an adjunct professor of commercial law for Oklahoma Baptist University's Graduate School in Oklahoma City.

Geiger graduated with honors from Oklahoma Baptist University in 1996 with a double major in journalism and telecommunications. She was the first sophomore news editor for OBU's student newspaper, The Bison.
