Devon Energy Corp. will sell a third of its interest in five North American shale natural gas ventures to Sinopec International Petroleum Exploration and Production Corp. for $2.2 billion. The Oklahoma City-based oil and gas producer made the announcement Tuesday.

MILFORD -- Emergency crews Friday restored a low hanging high- tension wire that fell below the Devon railroad bridge, a Metro- North spokeswoman said.
