This weekend, the estimated 6,000 Vietnamese immigrants who call Memphis home will celebrate the beginning of a new lunisolar calendar with Tet Nguyen Dan, or Vietnamese New Year, which officially is Monday. It's a multiday celebration in Vietnam and while it is more low- key here, it's nonetheless festive.
