NEW YORK - Arthur M. Schlesinger Jr., the Pulitzer Prize-winning historian and "court philosopher" of the Kennedy administration , has died. He was 89.
Schlesinger was dining with family members in Manhattan on Wednesday when he suffered a heart attack, his son Stephen said. He died at New York Downtown Hospital.

The primary service is to bring eye doctors into the community to provide basic screening examinations for underprivileged people who may be at risk for eye disease or vision loss. Part of that service also includes referrals, treatment, consultations--and eyeglasses may be provided. An orthopedic surgeon, Krinick is an associate chairman and trustee of New York University Downtown Hospital. An anesthesiologist, Moise is founder and chairman of Pain Specialists of New York and New Jersey.
