MCLEAN, Va., Feb. 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Roger W. Cressey, a counter-terrorism and cyber security expert and former member of the U.S. National Security Council staff, has been named Senior Vice President, supporting Booz Allen's cyber security business, the company announced.
Cressey was most recently president and founder of Good Harbor Consulting, a strategic safety, security and risk management consultancy. At Booz Allen, he will focus on supporting international government clients on a broad range of cyber security issues, and also will oversee the firm's practice in the area of "Smart Power," a whole-of-government approach for advancing national security goals that requires collaboration among multiple agencies with overlapping mission responsibilities.

It appears administration officials were willing to sign off on just about anything to accomplish their ends, and the result of this botched operation has has been over a hundred dead. Someone needs to be held accountable.

In an Oct. 17 response to the draft GAO report, the State Department indicated that National Security Council (NSC) staff chair an interagency policy coordination committee on the PSI that implements "clearly defined strategy documents" that describe agency roles and responsibilities. U.S. officials pointed out during the briefing that these interdictions were carried out in the furtherance of international law, such as UN Security Council resolutions, or national legal authorities, such as export controls.

WASHINGTON, Sept. 23 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The quality of Social Security and Medicare services will be put at risk because the Social Security Administration (SSA) has failed to provide adequate staffing levels to accommodate the increased workload required to administer the Medicare prescription drug program, said National Social Security Council president Witold Skwierczynski.
The Social Security Administration, which administers Medicare as well as Social Security, has not yet taken any steps to increase the SSA workforce despite the fact that the enrollment period for the new prescription drug program is about to begin.
