Concord wide receiver Thomas Mayo has been named national Co- Offensive Player of the Week by D2football.com after a record- breaking effort in the Mountain Lions' 52-45 overtime victory over Lenoir-Rhyne.
The sophomore snared 16 passes for 253 yards to establish new single-game school records in both categories. The final of his three touchdown receptions accounted for the game-winning points in overtime as Concord (2-0) is off to its best start since 1991.
