Utility Service Partners Inc. could partner with the city of St. Albans and the city's Municipal Utilities Commission to offer homeowners insurance covering the cost of servicing water and sewer lines.
In case of a break in the water or sewer line on the homeowner's property, the city would not be responsible," Mayor Dick Callaway told St. Albans council members Monday. "This company offers coverage for the homeowners if the lines fail.
