LOS ANGELES, July 18 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The Classification and Rating Administration (CARA) today announced a handful of new tools to inform parents about movie ratings. Among them, a weekly e-mail alert that will make it easy for parents to get ratings on their work and home computers or handheld devices. We're writing about some of our pet peeves this week. And one of our biggest peeves remains the really nutty movie rating system. Since we wrote about it last winter, it has only gotten worse. This year there have been some truly fabulous (and wonderfully moral) movie releases like "The King's Speech," which have had R ratings, and some really trashy and completely amoral movies have come out with PG-13 ratings.
