Some confessions are more fun than others. Instead of dripping with guilt, they shake with laughter. When poet Demetria Martnez confesses, there's no confessional screen -- she just tells it like it is. Her new book of essays and columns, Confessions of a Berlitz- Tape Chicana (University of Oklahoma, 2005), are tender morsels written by a humanist whose only dogma is reverence for life.
