It's not too late for City Council to do the right thing and put the establishment of a stormwater improvement enterprise to a vote of the people. They'll be discussing the matter at an informal session Monday. A formal vote is expected later this month. Bush's judicial appointments. One after another, they sermonized about the body's Constitutional, even moral, obligation to give each nominee an "up or down vote.
At the time, Sen. Orrin Hatch said, "All we are asking is that every one of these qualified nominees who have reached the floor receive an up-or-down vote."

We have a moral obligation to the women of America to stand up for your health, your rights, your very lives," Feldt said. "That is why we endorse John Kerry.

To the editor -- I have always believed it is my moral obligation to participate in the political process by being informed and voting. I am proud to have voted in every election (local and national) ever since I was eligible to vote.
