I can remember stinking since elementary school, and nothing would help my underarm odor. All the years of being made fun of, despite being an attractive girl, turned me into a recluse. I'd wear sweaters and carry extra shirts with me wherever I went.
I can swear that milk of magnesia works for me. It's quick. (You don't have to put it on the night before.)

Q: I took bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) to handle my horrible hot flashes. After taking it for three months, I started having pains in my breasts. A mammogram did not show any problems, but the recommendation was made that I stop taking the compounded HRT. The pain went away when I did so.
I did feel better while on BHRT. My doctor told me, though, that even compounded bioidentical HRT still counts as hormone treatment. Any thoughts?

I have suffered from underarm odor since I was a teen. Even after taking a shower I could notice an odor.
I have tried many different products through the years, including pricey, high-powered antiperspirants, natural deodorants, salt crystals, tea tree oil and witch hazel. Nothing has worked as well as milk of magnesia (MoM).

I am 38 years old and have never had acne in my entire life. In the past year, however, I have had a severe acne breakout, mainly on my forehead.
I am not too sure about the cause, and I've tried everything under the sun to control it, to no avail. Last week, I came across the strange idea of applying milk of magnesia (MoM) to acne. After just four days of use, my acne is clearly in retreat.

DETROIT -- It may have once been part of a beer bottle. Or a vase. Or a Milk of Magnesia container.
But after decades of being tumbled by water, after years of having its edges softened and rounded, it sits on the beach, a colored shard of tan or turquoise refracting the sunlight.

DEAR DR. GOTT: I am a 35-year-old female and am relatively healthy but have chronic constipation. I am taking Zelnorm and milk of magnesia but still have a bowel movement only once a month, usually at the time my period starts. It is very painful to pass the stool because it is like a big ball.
Recently, I started feeling tired and run down after normal activity. I consulted my doctor, who ordered a colonoscopy and blood tests. The results of the colonoscopy were negative. Blood tests indicated my red-blood-count was 4, so I've been taking iron pills for three months. It is still 4. Where do I go from here?

As many as 130 of our prisoners at Guantanamo - some held now for four years without seeing the key evidence against them - have been engaging in a hunger strike in their desperation. Only four of them are still on a hunger strike, due to the ruthless efforts of military officers to stop the strike. Lawyers for some of these detainees have told me of the methods being used to force feed the desperate prisoners - as also described on National Public Radio (Feb. 9) by another of their attorneys, Neil Koslowe.
The desperate hunger-strikers are put in a metal restraint chair which ties them down in six positions, and the officers "force open their mouths and then they shove down their mouths nutritional supplements mixed with milk of magnesia and other ingredients. The prisoners get nauseou...

Dear Dr. Gott: I have had a problem with severe constipation for many years. I have taken different laxatives and have been on milk of magnesia for a long time. I took a large dose of it last night and the night before, to no avail. I use Fleet enemas and suppositories, and I strain with all my might to get any kind of action.
I have approached my primary care physician and others and get no answers at all. I will say I am desperate with the terrible problem and am hoping you can give me help. I am physically active and seem to be in good health otherwise.
