The value of a husband's on-base military housing may be included in the calculation of his child support obligation, the Arizona Court of Appeals has ruled in reversing judgment.
The husband is a member of the U.S. Air Force and lived in housing on a military base after his wife filed for divorce. He claimed that he would receive an $876 housing allowance from the Air Force should he decide to live off-base.

A retired U.S. military member must compensate his former wife for a loss of pension benefits that resulted when he elected to take combat disability pay, the Michigan Court of Appeals has ruled in reversing judgment.
When the parties divorced, the wife was awarded 50 percent of her husband's U.S. Navy pension.

A husband's military disability benefits constituted income for the purpose of determining his spousal support obligation in his divorce, West Virginia's highest court has ruled.
The husband is a Vietnam veteran who received $2,823 per month in disability benefits from the federal government for post-traumatic stress disorder. In his divorce, the husband argued that his disability benefits could not be treated as income in setting his spousal support payments.
