A new traffic pattern has been established on Route 80 eastbound to accommodate a $15 million stimulus project that involves reconstructing more than seven miles of the highway in Paterson, Elmwood Park, Saddle Brook, Lodi and Hackensack. The state Department of Transportation this week closed the two left-most travel lanes on Route 80 eastbound, from the vicinity of Madison Avenue in Paterson to the express/local lane divergence in Saddle Brook.
