Aaron Bilodeau has struck a balance between his sensitive and tough sides. The 30-year-old former philosophy student spends his days working at Strive, a program for young adults with developmental disabilities, and his nights as a vocalist for hard- core metal band The End of Everything.
The Portland-based group recently began touring the country to vie for a $1 million record contract in the Bodog Battle of the Bands, a national, multi-genre, traveling competition. The band's first stop was at the Middle East in Boston last Monday. And they won. Now, the band awaits the location of their next performance.

BOSTON, June 21 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Two prominent Episcopalian bishops are warning their church not to support the anti-Israel divestment campaign that is splitting Protestant churches in the U.S. Divestment, they warn, places exclusive blame for the Arab/ Israeli conflict on Israel, promoting an understanding that "is entirely inconsistent with the actual history of this long and tragic conflict.
Their warning comes in the form of an anti-divestment petition released in conjunction with the Judeo-Christian Alliance, an initiative of the David Project, a Boston-based group that promotes a fair and honest discussion of conflict in the Middle East.

Maine freshman Rob Bellamy went down to block a slap shot during practice on Wednesday, and stood up with two broken bones in his hand. Bellamy - the power forward on Maine's burgeoning freshman line - could miss the rest of the season, starting with tonight's Hockey East semifinal against Boston College. He broke his ring and middle fingers.
Sophomore Tom Zabkowicz, a defenseman, has been moved to left wing to skate in Bellamy's spot. Troy Barnes will take Zabkowicz's place on defense.
