For obvious reasons the topic I have been hearing about the most this past week is Standard & Poor's decision to downgrade our national credit rating from AAA, the highest rating, to AA+. S&P is not the only credit rating agency. Both Moody's and Fitch Rating currently list America as maintaining our AAA status. However, S&P's downgrade has brought about two important questions: How did we get here and how can we restore America's credit rating?
