  • The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) expressed profound outrage at the brutal murder of Nicholas Berg, an American civilian in Iraq, by a group allegedly claiming ties to Al-Qaeda. ADC was also deeply disturbed that a video of the murder was posted on the Internet. ADC President Mary Rose Oakar said, "There is no possible rationalization for such appalling brutality. The criminals responsible must be brought to justice."
