, 73, of Quarryville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 11, 2011 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Fairfield, Drumore Twp., she was the daughter of the late William J. and Isabella (Eshleman) Wesley. Mary Lou was married to the late Richard Clair Murphy who died in 2001.
An active member of the community, Mary Lou owned and operated Cla-Mart Flowers and Gifts in Quarryville for over forty-four years. She was a member and the organist at both Mount Zion United Methodist Church and Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church. She graduated from Quarryville High School in 1955 and continued her studies at Lancaster Business School. Mary Lou worked as a secretary before opening the flower shop with her late husband.
