Lacrosse has always been the signature sport at St. Mary's High, so it's no surprised that every member of the school's latest Hall of Fame class excelled with the stick in their hands. Of course, all six inductees were multi-sport standouts that earned a slew of varsity letters during their careers at the Annapolis parochial school.
The 20th annual St. Mary's Athletic Hall of Fame ceremony, organized by the Royal Blue Club, will be held today (6:30 p.m.) in Marian Hall. Tickets cost $55 per person and $100 per couple and can be purchased by visiting www.royalblueclub.org.
