John A. Rollins, a senior partner at the Charleston law firm Lewis Glasser Casey & Rollins, died unexpectedly on Sunday. He was 56.
Rollins, the son of former state House of Delegates majority leader Walter "Lefty" Rollins and Martha "Marty" Lacock Rollins, graduated from West Virginia University in 1975, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Three years later, he earned his law degree from WVU's College of Law, where he was associate editor of the law review.

Nannie was born Aug. 15, 1901, in Prince George County, Va. She was the daughter of the late John Redd Sr., and Queen Brown Redd. Also preceding her in death, her husband, John Diggs Sr.; four brothers, John, Willie, Charles and Henry Redd, all of Prince George; three sisters, Martha Sydnor, Daisy Rollins and Mary Rick; two sons, George and Charles Diggs; one daughter, Rose Diggs Turnquist, and a son-in-law, Nathaniel Smith.

Clyde Thomas Rollins, 86, of Greensboro, N.C., died peacefully at his residence on Saturday, February 19, 2011. There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 26, 2011, at Grace United Methodist Church. Clyde was born in Mercedes, Texas, on June 4, 1924, the youngest twin son of the late Doctor Baxter and Lily Rollins and brother of deceased siblings, Overman, Willie Ree, George, Jack, and Charles. Clyde married Elizabeth Osborne on June 5, 1948, in Morganton, N.C. They were married for almost 60 years when he lost her to cancer.
