Three financial executives shared their views on work/life balance. According to Jeremy Harrison, director, Commercial Finance Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets, Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance has a strong work/life balance ethic derived from their UK heritage, and they believe that by achieving just the right balance they can get the most out of their employees. Jim Quinn, EVP and chief sales officer, LSQ Funding Group, said that proper balance is whatever allows you to succeed in both work and family. What the bank is, if you look at it, is a full-service investment bank, said Clark D. Lauritzen, First National senior vice president and manager of the new business unit. Given the bank's size and location, it can compete with the Wall Street banks. Lauritzen, based in the bank's Omaha headquarters, said the new investment bank grew out of services that the 150-year-old First National had been providing customers dating back to the mid-1920s. Lauritzen said FNIB offers a menu o...
